BIC19 Highlights: Interviews, talks, vlogs, blogs and more!

One week after the Blockchain Innovation Conference 2019 #BIC19! We are very proud of the participants, students, volunteers, team and partners! Over 300 people came together in Amsterdam to watch 50+ (inter)national speakers discuss Blockchain beyond the hype! This was the year of production: billions of dollars are now settled on the blockchain, which we are very excited about!

The full livestream is now online and can be found below (clickable program in the description/comments). In the coming days all individual talks & panels will be uploaded and we are going to highlight all of them in our monthly Blockchain Bulletin for which you can sign up via here.

Nick Stevens interviewed several speakers and some guests in the BIC19 TV Studio! Nick did an amazing job doing interviews with our blockchain heroes, varying from the CEO of Bitbond about the first German STO, to the CIO of ABN AMRO about collaborations in the blockchain community & with Parity Technologies to talk about how blockchain enables 100.000+ refugees to pay & identify themselves more efficiently! Watch the playlist below!

We have some beautiful snapshots of our conference (Dextair Photography) which you can access below. Feel free to share this on your social media and tag us with #BIC19 as well!

Several bloggers and vloggers were also present at BIC19! Read this interesting article about BIC19 and the current state of Blockchain (Dutch), written by blogger and lecturer Erdinç Saçan of Marketing Facts. Also, Oil Blockchain News reported on the VAKT case (North Sea crude oil trading) and why piloting the project was not necessary, fitting our theme of beyond the hype!

Watch vlogger Joël Happé doing interviews with speakers and attendees (English)

Vlogger “Misss Bitcoin” Madelon Vos also gave an impression of the atmosphere at BIC19 (Dutch)!

Bitcoin Magazine was also present to ask Misss Bitcoin about her vision on the future of… Bitcoin of course!

All in all, #BIC19 was a great success and we are looking forward to next year’s edition! Do you have any thoughts on BIC2020? Our slate is clean and we need new fresh ideas! Feel free to share your ideas with us per email. We would love to hear your feedback and see you next year! Don’t forget to HODL!
