Marcus is both an international lawyer with 30 years experience on 3 continents as well as a founding shareholder of UrbanFarmingPartners Holding BV (“UFP”), a Dutch consortium which started life as a Dutch government supported PPP comprising partners with expertise in horticulture, urban planning, logistics, legal, finance and, last but not least, blokchain. UFP are developing an integrated physical and digital platform offering a highly efficient and fully circular urban farming solution. UFP’s “proof of concept” will be built in Singapore.
Marcus practices law in Singapore and specializes in m&a (private equity) and finance and takes care of legal matters and fund raising efforts for UFP. He has investments in various other businesses and is a blokchain convert.
Marcus holds doctoral and master’s degrees from Erasmus Universiteit in Rotterdam and Cornell Law School in Ithaca, New York, respectively, and is admitted in both the Netherlands and New York.
